About the Role
A leading global asset manager is seeking a Legal Counsel to join its high-performing London legal team.
In this role, you will provide legal support across the firm's legal function with a particular focus on derivatives, trading, regulatory matters, and general advisory work. You'll work closely with portfolio managers, traders, compliance professionals, and senior stakeholders, gaining exposure to a wide range of products, strategies, and market developments.
You will have high visibility across the business with genuine scope to broaden your skills and grow your career. Withing a collegial environment that values expertise, judgement, and initiative.
About You
- Qualified lawyer (England & Wales or equivalent) with 3-7 years' PQE gained at a respected law firm or in-house at an asset manager, hedge fund, bank, or similar financial institution.
- Strong experience in derivatives, trading documentation, or financial regulation.
- Confident advising stakeholders and comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Proactive mindset with the ability to manage a varied workload and take ownership of legal matters.
- Collaborative approach suited to a lean, supportive legal team.
